EDIT: When I first made this thread, I had no idea what I was doing, so this first post doesn't tell you what to do. Just keep reading after this.

The way this game is programmed obviously affects everything. The race matching is obviously one big thing, and it seems the matchups have become more difficult (at least for me) since the last upgrade.

Long story short, in a matter of a couple days, I got my Aventador down to 10.600 dyno. The car is faster by almost a half a second, and yet I can't win a single race.

There must be some kind of "sweet spot" that gets you the most favorable matchups. There have been times when I've able to rip off a bunch of wins and a row and times when I can't win to save my life.

Right now with my Aventador, I literally can't win a single race unless my opponent fucks up. My upgrades must've bumped me into a really high level of competition. Just about everybody in the race lobby is "Legendary" and there are tons of people with RP's of 400,000+. For example, right now, my RP is about 180,000 and that's usually one of the lowest.

So here's the thing....In just about every race, my opponent finishes at less than 10.600 (my dyno score). That means that these races are over before they start. I literally have no chance of winning unless my opponent screws up.

So basically, I don't think I can win another race with this car until I get more upgrades. That sucks because I was pretty excited after I got two stage 6 parts in two days along with some other fusion parts. The car went from the 11.1's to the 10.6's in a couple days. I thought I was going to be kicking ass, but it's the exact opposite. I did win for a while, at first.

EDIT: That last paragraph is not exactly true. See below.

Also, when I did win, I was getting pretty high RP's consistently. It was around 1,200 to 1,500.

I'm going to have to go back to using other cars now. I'm going to buy one more Huracan and hope I get a couple good parts. It's obviously a huge waste of money if it doesn't work.

EDIT: I'm winning again with the same car. See below.

I tried out my 650S that I won a couple days ago and I can win more races with that than with my Aventador.

Just remove some of the fusion parts. Would you mind doing a Tier 5 Dyno build? That would definitely give us a better idea of what range we'll need to be in for optimal live racing win ratios.

I've run into this problem MULTIPLE times! I can run my berlinetta in the 10.3's with 10.4's being consistent. That car gets killed almost every time! I'm racing my Z28 most of the time now. I just got a stage 6 part for it and I'm worried to fit because it wins almost every race as is right now. Crazy!

Omg that's such a fast whip you've got... Please do a Dyno build for it so we can mimic your build and all make more crew rep. This is what's going to increase the potential of every crew member.

Done! I was surprised by the dyno... I've had a 10.3xx in a live race. I realized this car does way better with a launch around 6000rpm than the perfect start number. I also tend to shift just prior to the PerfectShift indicator!

Yeah, my Berlinetta is slow if I launch it in the green zone. I have to launch it way past that to get the best times. It all depends on the car and the upgrades.

We've talked about this a little in the chat....The first criteria that the game uses for race matching is your PP. When you upgrade to a stage 6 part, obviously your PP goes up and your car is faster. But what matters most in live races is the ratio of your PP to your EP.

In other words, if your stage 6 parts aren't filled up with fusion parts, it sometimes puts you at a disadvantage. For example, if your PP is 710, you're going to get matched up against people who are closer to 710, but most of those people are probably going to have their stage 6 parts mostly filled up (higher EP), which usually means that you'll be paired up against faster cars.

When I downgraded two empty stage 6 parts on my Aventador, it brought me down to 706 EP. The car became slower by about a half a second, but I started winning a lot more races.

If for some reason you started adding fusion parts to your stage 6's before filling the lower stages, move those parts back down to any open slots in the lower stages, and then downgrade to stage 5. If your stage 6 is partially filled, then you just have to experiment. If you're half filled up in stage 6, you might want to keep it. You just have to go through some trial and error. Obviously, after you're done with any changes, re-tune your car.

I was all excited when I got a bunch of upgrades for my Aventador in a couple days, after I had waited what seemed like months to get anything. My dyno was down to around 10.5 and I thought I would start winning more. The exact opposite happened.
